Flantech began life in 1998 as the Asia-Pacific licensee of a successful, USA-based nutrition company that marketed several products developed by Dr. Patrick Flanagan. It grew quickly, from its first office in Sydney, Australia to offices and warehouses in New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa.

Dr. Flanagan parted company with the US-owned company in early 2003 and formed a new research company, Phi Sciences Inc.

The Asia-Pacific partners chose to continue their close association with Dr. Flanagan and planning began for launching what is now the Flantech group of international companies, in which Dr. Flanagan has an active involvement.

The company is successfully past the critical five-year mark often used as an unofficial benchmark for assessing viability of network marketing companies.

New countries added to the Flantech family include Thailand, the USA and, in the near future, Indonesia and India.

The company maintains offices and warehouses in all countries in which it operates, with local partners who know the local customs, business practices, laws and regulations.

It all began years ago in a research laboratory where Dr. Patrick Flanagan studied ways to improve absorption of nutrients into our cells. 

First they studied the five remote mountain regions of the world where people live healthy lives past 120 years. The diets in these five regions all differed. The only factor in common that could explain their long healthy lives was their drinking water. It comes from melted glaciers, and is physically different from the water we drink.
